Dr Kenneth Voon hails from Kuching, Sarawak. He currently holds the position of Head of Colorectal Surgery for Miri General Hospital and visiting consultant colorectal surgeon to Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching. His special interest is in Fistula-in-Ano and anorectal surgery but is actively expanding the services for surgery in advanced colorectal malignancy in Sarawak. He is involved in national colorectal cancer screening programme and promotes public awareness for early cancer screening and detection, at the same time conducts research on blood-based epigenetic markers for detection of cancer.
