Dr. Rezal, a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, completed his Basic Surgical Training in Limerick and was the first Malaysian awarded the Irish Scholarship for Research Fellowship at the University of Milwaukee, presenting his Neuroblastoma research in New Orleans in 2003. He holds an MRCS (Ire), a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery (Strasbourg), a Master of Surgery (University Malaya), and advanced training in Colorectal and Peritoneal Malignancy, specializing in Cytoreductive Surgery, HIPEC, and PIPAC. He is a member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology, Academy of Medicine Malaysia, Malaysian Society of Colorectal Surgeons, and ISSPP.
