I am a surgeon with specialization in colorectal surgery, peritoneal carcinomatosis, HIPEC, and pelvic exenteration. I graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed my General Surgery residency in 2006. In 2018, I was promoted to Professor, and I have contributed extensively to clinical and academic research in oncologic and colorectal surgery. My PhD focused on developing an in vitro 3D microfluidic peritoneal metastatic colorectal cancer model. Currently, I practice at my private clinic in Izmir and serve as an affiliated surgeon at Acibadem Izmir Kent Hospital.
