Prof. Datuk Dr. Ismail Sagap is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, UKM. He is well known in the train- ing of general, digestive and colorectal surgeons in ASEAN countries and had been instru- mental in development ofseveral training manuals around the region. He regularly featured in numerous local/international scientific conferences and workshops as a speaker, trainer and organiser. His latest commitment/innovation is on an outreach training apprenticeship of Advanced Colorectal Surgical Skills (ACrS) for Malaysian general surgeons and General Surgery for Residents Surgeons (GSurgR).
